I purchased the neoprene socks along with the murena fin, hoping they would protect my feet and ankles from the inevitable rubbing. The socks are too low cut for this task and I have gone on to buy some other socks that go above the ankle. I would advise other customers not to match the low cut sock with any strap type fin

Thanks for the review Daniel. Fair point, some people favour the low cut also to reduce drag. In this case a squirt of silicon spray or similar on the inside of the strap can help to prevent rubbing on the achilles? Cheers

Great socks

These socks have been ideal - not as thick as my other dive socks, they fit well in my Najades finns and have eliminated the blisters I was getting my ankle from the straps.
